As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a level 3-trained Brainspotting practitioner pursuing certification, I offer my clients 8 years of combined counseling experience working in schools, non-profits, faith-based agencies, and private practice with diverse populations. I currently focus my clinical work with adults in their 20s-30s who are figuring out their identities, relationships, and careers as they sort through issues of culture, spirituality, and various mental health experiences including anxiety, depression, HSP, ADHD, and PTSD.
I specialize in trauma-informed practices and seek to provide culturally humble and spiritually sensitive support to adults navigating intersectional identities. I also have a keen interest in relationships, intersectional identities, and feel passion about journeying with my clients through the deconstruction and reconstruction process of culture, worldview/spirituality, and holistic view of self.
I take an approach that leans towards being strength-based, trauma-informed, justice-oriented, and person-centered while focusing on skills building (particularly positive self-talk, boundaries, and assertive communication), coaching, psychoeducation (holistic healing and functioning for the brain and the body), mindfulness, and self-care.
